You may want to have your sales force provide their forecast for orders for the six month period. Each section in this Worksheet will be headed by the salesperson’s name.
Type in the first customer name into the cell just below this first salesperson’s name (a white cell).
Proceed across the row and put in how many dollars this customer will enter with your company in each month (more white cells). The values should be put in the month(s) when the order is “in hand” and ready to be “put into your order system”.
Just put in rounded numbers - no “$”, periods, cents. The program will format to whole dollars.
Repeat this procedure with each salesperson and their customers, typing names into customer cells in the first column and dollar values in the month columns.
As the data is put in, it will be summed to the bottom for each salesperson’s section and to the right in the FMTD (First Month to Date) column. Data will also be combined for all salespersons at the bottom of the Orders worksheet.
